This journal thing needed changing, so I thought I'd have it written somewhere that if anything is annoying anyone by not being visible here due to mature content filters, they should feel free to head on over there. Never liked mature content filters, just like most (not all) of other people's misconceptions.

Question: When you say  "Digital Art" do you mean using the mouse to draw, as in MS Paint, or something more like drawing on an IPAD or tablet with one of those special pens? I'm not being a smartass, I sincerely have no idea. My only means of digital art is using the mouse, or using something like DA Muro to color a drawing by "saturation".  I don't have any of those programs. Just what is free, like Paint and DA Muro.  I use mouse.

Mainly the things I post online are made with a Wacom Intuos 4 in Manga Studio (ex4-5), with few (and mostly technical) touch-ups in photoshop. I've also been keeping traditional sketchbooks that sometimes will give me something to work on digitally as a rough sketch, but they're mostly for my own entertainment.
There should be many free (and capable) drawing programs by now (depending on your operating system) and drawing tablets are not so expensive, as you can start with something small and see if it works for you (my first one was a wacom bamboo). Some people can make great things with simpler tools like paint and a mouse, but I never would have had the patience to keep trying, I'm sure.
